This is the first year I’m participating in NaNoWriMo, (thanks to Clarablog for bringing it to my attention) and I’m quite excited! Technically I could begin writing my 30 day novel in, oh, 17 minutes. But I’m so shattered, I really can’t. Just came back from watching Dead Ringers be filmed, it was really good! [...]

Ha ha, just got sent this link ))))) There’s an addictive quality about leading Bush around by the nose… Don’t forget to click “Blair” after you’ve finished with Bush, to practise on old Tone as well.
John Peel

I can’t believe John Peel died yesterday. Just can’t believe it… He was amazing, a really good radio presenter and I know he’ll be missed by a lot of people. It’s so sudden, and he was fairly young. It’s almost like it wasn’t his time to go.He’ll never again feature in an episode of Grumpy [...]
Anti Bush

Just found this article online, it’s really irritating! Bush thinks he can do anything, including suppressing facts that show him in a bad light until after the election. What a moose he is. C’mon people in the US – Kerry might not be perfect, but do you really want another 4 years of this guy? [...]

My dreams last night were dark and bizarre, full of pain. I can’t shake them off me and it’s a horrible feeling knowing how long I have to wait before I can sleep again, and wipe out the memories of the old dreams.
Today I said I’d start a letter to C, but I don’t know [...]

Last night I thought how grateful I was for the opportunities I’ve had since coming back to live in London, and I felt like crying. It feels right here, like I belong. There’s no strangeness, even when everything is new and I don’t know anyone. I feel safe.
So the gig, was – fantastic. I thught [...]
Ahhhhhhhh…..

I can die happy. I have been at the very front at a U2 gig, and I swear Adam Clayton looked at me and smiled several times…
More info when I have recovered. I am high on joy.

Last night was the Avril Lavigne concert (good, six rows from the front) and today my first day at the library. Agh, I am SO tired, after standing for hours yesterday, little sleep and then standing all day again. I like the work and think it’ll be very nice and interesting once I’ve learn everything. [...]

I thought they couldn’t censor the internet. Well, they can now, it seems. Huh.
Don’t Bring Me Down
Posted in Uncategorized on October 10, 2004 | 2 Comments »
I am in love with this song, it’s called Don’t Bring Me Down and is by Sia, an artist I recently discovered after hearing one of her songs on the last episode of NY-LON. (NY-LON is a trashy but strangely compelling drama about long distance relationships that’s just finished airing in the UK. A bit [...]
